These contemporary and stylish Charterhouse apartments are just off St John Street, in the heart of fashionable Clerkenwell an area of interesting and exciting boutiques, lively bars and cosmopolitan restaurants, and one of our most popular locations.
Please note this building has a 90 night minimum restriction.
These newly appointed and luxurious Charterhouse apartments are right in the middle of the ever popular Clerkenwell area of central London. Barbican station is a short five minute walk from the apartments, and the tube and rail stations at Farringdon are only four minutes away on foot. For travel further afield, the City Thameslink station is just nine minutes from Charterhouse.
These apartments have large, open plan living and dining areas, with plenty of room for entertaining or relaxing. The fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms will provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.
When you’re catering for yourself you could try Smithfield, the last surviving historical wholesale market in central London. Or there’s an alternative farmers market opposite Smithfield, which offers British food from selected sources, so whatever your requirements you’ll be well supplied.
If you prefer to eat out, you’ll find a real variety of traditional as well as modern pubs in the area, serving everything from the latest style lagers to microbrewery real ales. Many of these pubs have left their market trader roots behind and have become chic gastro pubs, serving modern British and European cuisine. The days of just drinking ale in a London pub have long gone: most pubs now also serve coffee and tea as well as meals throughout the day, and are frequented by locals and visitors alike.
If pubs aren’t your style, there are candlelit bistros and romantic old style wine bars; you’ll find them alongside new nightclubs, which feature some of the most sensational line-ups in the capital.
You can experience the real flavour of London life, from the prehistoric to present day, when you visit the Museum of London. The museum is just ten minutes from the apartments, and the Barbican centre is a few moments away as well. When you’ve had enough culture, you can relax in Postman's Park. This lovely park was named for the many postmen who used to relax on the park’s lawns while on their lunch break - the General Post Office was south of the garden. You’ll find this peaceful spot just north of St Paul's Cathedral, one of the many tranquil areas tucked away around the City of London.
